REVIEW: Drake Supersport bindings

During last summer I was fortunate enough to meet an awesome fellow over at Drake/Northwave, which in turn opened up the opportunity to try out a few of their products for this season. I'll be posting my review for the Northwave boots in a few days, today I'm going to tell you my thoughts on Drake's Supersport bindings. When I was first taking a gander at Drake's 09/10 line up these binders instantly caught my eye just from their color way. What's not to love with neon green/purple mismatched binders?...nothin', that's what. The Supersports are the go-to freestyle binding in Drake's line up, but don't be fooled, they'll get the job done in pretty much any situation thrown your way when you're at the mountain. Think flexible enough to butter with the best of them while rigid enough to help you get from edge to edge on hard pack going mach 3. Pretty much all of the adjustments you could
want to make to these binders to get them to your liking requires no extra tools, a plus in my book. Their toe cap is a super soft, flexible multi-cap strap that can be worn on the toe as a cap or over the toe box area aka old school. The ankle strap is super comfortable, I found no uncomfortable pressure what so ever having this thing clamped down tight on my boot. At the end of the day, Drake's Supersport is one hell of an all-mountain freestyle binding, no complaints from me.
